IT'S LIKE YOU'RE A DRUG ADDICT AND THAT BUS IS A DRUG  
- It is dumb to talk about vids when you can't find them on youtube, but uh sit back and pretend. There's a World of Warcraft commercial I saw today with two women playing as their characters in a supermarket. And I loved it, because the females weren't stereotypical ~*gamer girls*~, nor were they wrestling in bikinis. It was refreshing to see women with the same any-girl-off-the-street appearance that men would have in a commercial for something nerdy. (That's another thing: I was sure there'd be a bug-eyed guy staring at them or applauding at the end, but nope. Just ladies.)

- I booked my plane tickets for D*C and for staying at [info]prix_etoile's house a week beforehand. Sooo psyched guys. I wonder if tickets for the aquarium are still available?

70 year-old Buddhist monk Hua Chi has been praying in the same spot at his temple in Tongren, China for over 20 years. His footprints, which are up to 1.2 inches deep in some areas, are the result of performing his prayers up to 3000 times a day. Now that he is 70, he says that he has greatly reduced his quantity of prayers to 1,000 times each day.

Don't worry. There are always tickets available for the aquarium. It's not new anymore, so there really hasn't been sold out. If it is you can just go to the World of Coke and the CNN Center tour!

YES YES YES I AM :D :D :D WE WILL NEED TO MEET UP. Are you planning on coming to D*C at all? I don't know how much SW stuff is going on (but I'm excited to see Zahn and Allston, and lolol there is apparently a panel on ~adult themes in Stra Wras~)

And yeah, the thing is that my friends told me there's an event for discounted tickets going on during the Con. So we'll see. I should probably get on that soon.

Ohhh CNN Center. I wish I could be in Atlanta for more than 3 days!

Yesss! I haven't decided. Normally D*C doesn't have a real big SW thing, BUT APPARENTLY DAVE FREAKIN' FILONI is supposed to do a panel Friday night. I would go just for that!


You should totes stay more than 3 days!

.... WHAT. That would be incredible. :-O I'm sad that I'm going to miss all the TCW stuff at SDCC this year, especially since it's the first time in two years I've been able to go but it's already sold out. WAHHH etc.

Yesss I did too. And I really like the new Half-Blood Prince TV spot with the Quidditch fangirl who throws a milkshake in her friend's face.

Okay, even though his feet look gross, my first thought was "OMG I WANT FOOT IMPRINTS IN THE FLOOR, THAT WOULD BE SO COZY <3" Seriously, it's like the ultimate worn-in old shoes. I love standing in things with snug molded fits like that.

okay haha I did - I just couldn't for the life of me remember what the one after godzillapicnic was and I was like, I THINK IT STARTS WITH AN M but I didn't want to look through the fifty zillion offline "M" screen names on my AIM list (WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY AIM FRIENDS. I DON'T THINK I KNOW THAT MANY PEOPLE.)


Boo doctor appointments! I have one on Friday and it's gonna be EVIL, because it's a fasting appt at 11am after I have to work from 7-10am. I'm gonna pass oooout :(
